Tilicho Lake in the Manang District of Nepal is one of the most beautiful high-altitude lakes in the world. With an elevation of 4,919m (16,138 ft) above sea level, it is commonly said to be the world's highest lake (although there are some other glacier lakes that could be slightly higher). Located in the Annapurna Region, the lake is situated at an elevation of 4,920 m and is part of the world-renowned Annapurna Circuit trekking route, with a variety of trekkers from around the globe. It is also featured in the movie Dark Side of the Rainbow. surrounded by mountains, like Tilicho peak, Nilgiri I, and Khangsar Kang.
